Tamara N. Friedrich

I was born in California but spent a good portion of my life in Arizona.  Both my parents immigrated from Germany, and German was my first language.  I traveled to Europe regularly growing up and it was my trip to Paris that sparked my first love for art.  I was inspired by the artists drawing portraits.  I am very grateful for my High School art teachers that provided me many oppportunities to explore my passion.  I went on to study art at the University of Arizona, where I graduated with a degree in Studio Art and Religious Studies.  I spent a few years in ministry and didn't get back into pursuing art until more recently when I decided to settle down in Auburn, CA.  I love exploring different mediums to create images that are primarily inspired by my faith and spiritual experiences.
